    can my wife claim my tax credits now that im out of a job and how would i go about this as i am not very good at all this tax stuff.

    If your wife is working, you can contact your local Revenue office and ask them to give all your tax credits (yours and hers) to your wife. If I remember correctly, they will do this over the phone. Have your PPS number and hers handy when you ring. Th number of your local Revenue office will be on the last Certificate of Tax Credits you got in the post.
