I have an ordinary sky box which I view using a freeview card from a UK account. I just acquired a sky+ box. Will it work if I run a second cable in to the back or do I need a Sky subscription here.

You cannot use the Sky+ features without subscribing to sky....however they will apply the sky+ features to your FTV card for uk £10 sterlinga month ....total robbery in my opinion
