Bramble and anyone else in the know on the Aer Lingus schedule:

Can you tell me which aircraft is scheduled to operate EI 147 DUB-SFO on Monday June 15th and what entertainment system economy class has on the aircraft?

Many thanks in advance and apologies for the thread hijack but based on previous posts this seems to be the best place to post this query.

    Thanks

DUB-SFO can only be served by the A330-200's so it will be either EI-DAA or EI-DUO as EI-LAX has not returned from Refit yet.

Both of these are equipped with AVOD. (EI-DAA was refitted with it after the last C-Check)

What will happen during the winter with some Shannon transatlantic routes axed but may resume for the summer? Word is the JFK, ORD to go but BOS to stay. Possibly a third LHR service to start.

Will they be leased to some other operator for the 6 months?

A conversation possibly for its own thread.

It would be hard to lease branded aircraft to another company. I would imagine, knowing Irish companies, they will put it in storage which will cost more than the profit derived from operating the route.

Will they ever learn their lesson with Shannon? No, just bite the hand that feeds you.

Sorry, you cannot fly for business in Winter but we hope you will fly with us in the Summer.

Sorry Aer Fungus there are other carriers "currently" operating from that airport.

You were spot on - it ended up being EI-DAA St Keeva. Lovely aircraft, great flight.

Now, can you tell me which aircraft will be on my return flight? EI 146 from SFO-DUB on Friday June 26?

    Many thanks. Really helps.
