Did you ever nearly quit boards? If so, why?

So many of us who've been around here a while have been through a phase where they either didn't use boards or have decided to quit boards completely. So i want to know why did you nearly quit boards? What drove you to it? Have you ever just re-regged or asked for a siteban? If so why so?
The first time I quit boards was after infractions were introduced and I got two in a row in the first week. The 2nd was a ban. Other than that I quit boards because I temporarily had a life.

I almost quit boards because of braindead idiots that seem to have an opinion on everything & refuse to mind their own fcuking business when it's quite clear they haven't the intelligence or manners to interact with farmyard animals let alone contribute to a thread that they haven't bothered reading properly.

Steps to pissing off a thanks whore

1) Go back and find an old post of theirs
2) Thank it
3) Return to said post the next day and remove your thanks

It'll keep them guessing where that extra number came from, and then, the count will go backwards.

PC is a line in the sand which must be adhered to.
Just like all lines in the sand it tends to shift slightly day to day. We've all been victims of it. I've had my fair share of bannings. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Fairly new to this boards craic but already thinking of quitting, it's way too addictive and my posts are becoming less constructive by the ehm well post, I'm also beginning to post when drunk and recently I feel like I'm trying to hard to impress a new group of friends, god I should b over that now ... I don't post that much to begin with, but I've considered stopping altogether. I find the general mentality on boards to be very close-minded with a lot of people arguing for the sake of arguing. Also, I find a lot of the mods have a superiority complex and are annoyingly full of themselves.
