Myself and my partner are going to paris on the 2nd of October for the weekend. DOes anybody know is anything on that weekend. I know we are the wrong year for the motorshow (damn!) but is there anything else on? (apart from the normal tourist things, done them already so looking for other eye candy)

Can't really answer your question, but just wanted to say that I was there that weekend a few years back, it is a lovely time to go. Nice mild weather and lovely autumn foliage. I know you don't want to do the standard tourist things, but a lot of the museums are free the first Sunday of every month. We were able to get in to the Louvre for free which was a nice suprise.

What about doing a Segway tour? They are great fun and a new way to see old sites http://fattirebiketours.com/paris we did the night tour and it was a blast.

    Hey,

Dont know id you and your partner would be into it but there is huge horseracing on in Paris that wk end - the Arc De Triomphe very cheap to go actually if you show your irish passport you get in free, plus there is alot of Opera/street shows on that wk end too. :D
