    Hi,

I bought a lovely pair of ivory sling back shoes for my wedding (in 2 wks) but the backs are always slipping off. I've tried insoles and put another hole in the strap, but they're still falling off!

Was thinking of finding a cobblers to but a strap (attached at the back of the slingback ) that goes around my ankle to keep the shoes on?

Anyone know of anywhere in dublin that would to this??

    Or any other ideas???

    thanks,
    mise

There's a very good cobbler on South Anne Street, I think it's called the Italian Heel Bar.

I suppose you've already tried those rubbery strips, like the rubber gel pads to put under the balls of your feet when you're wearing stilettos to reduce the pain? It's just a strip of rubber that sticks to the sling back and if they're just a little bit too big, these can work great, especially if you're not wearing tights.
You can get these in any pharmacy - Boots sell them.
