    Quick question

    If I go to an airport can I book a flight at the airport?

    If I can ideed book a flight at the airport does that 24hour booking before flight rule apply?

    You can ook flights at the airport but you'll pay an arm and a leg for them.

    Give the FlightCentre travel agents in Sydney a call and they can tell you, they're open pretty late.

    Yeah, just go to the airline ticket desk and you can do it no prob. You won't get any bargains though.

    I was on a Ryanair flight to Stansted at 6:25 a while back, which then got cancelled. We got off the plane at about 6:45 and rather than join the massive queue at the ryanair desk, I walked over to BMI and booked the 9am flight to Heathrow. No problem, but it was fairly expensive.

    The closer to the day of departure you book, the more you pay, but even though it was more expensive, I didn't get ripped off.

    Missed Aer Lingus from Cork to Paris so drove to Dublin for Ryanair flight.

    Missed Ryanair flight due to traffic.

    Caught Air France instead. Dublin -> Paris €400 one-way
