    Pregnancy test maybe?

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

With unprotected sex, you run the risk of catching a sexually transmitted disease, as well as falling pregnant.

Take a pregnancy test, or go to your GP and get tested.

Additionally I would recommend STI tests as well.

Yes, of course you could be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test.

Menstral discharge can be brown at the start and end of a period but given you have been having unprotected sex you could also have contracted an sti or have gotten some sort of an infection never mind the chances of you being pregnant.

I suggest you get in touch with your/a dr and go get checked out asap.

I take it you are actually trying to get pregnant if you are having unprotected sex for a few months? Visit a Dr, have a pregancy test and get screened for STI's if you have had more than one partner.

If a 'silly little thing' results in a child that isnt planned for, wanted and properly provided for, is that fair / responsible / mature of you?

If you are not trying to get pregnant get on some sort of birth control asap, use condoms and protect your health. Its not rocket science. If you are able to have sex at least have some responsiblity.

There are other very real risks here if you are not with a regular partner. If you are planning a kid with your partner that's great. Otherwise just be conscious of the dangers out there.

It sounds like implantation bleeding, some people get what seems like a very light period when they get pregnant.
Presumably you were trying for a baby so congratulations! Takes a lot of people more than a few weeks.

I dont think she was trying for a baby, if she was why would she think unprotected sex was silly and why would she be worried?

OP it could be normal, you could be pregnant, its not a question someone here can answer. Your GP is your next port of call. If your worried about STIs also (if your not with a long term partner etc etc) then your GP will help you there too. If you do get your period and STIs could still be an issue you really should visit either your doctor or a GUM clinic.
