I am looking for a new pair of running shoes, adidas, asics or nike probably (elverys is handy and have a sale at the moment). I need something for an over pronater and am finding it hard enough to get a list of models that will suit. So what do people recommend?

I picked this chart up when I bought my last pair of runners, hope it helps.

I'm an over-pronator but fairly light(normally below 8 stone, not right now <<sigh>>) so don't need massive support.

I use the mizuno wave-inspire. If you like a light shoe then these are for you. I've flirted with other shoes but always return to my mizunos. They're more difficult to get in ireland but there's some great deals in amazon!

They also do half sizes, I'm normally a size 5 but the size 5.5 is perfect for me.

    I'm a severe over-pronator and I use Mizuno Wave Alchemy 8's - fantastic, I can't recommend them highly enough!

Cheers for all the suggestions, picked up a pair of adidas supernovas. Breaking them in now so will hopefully get a run in this evening. Noticable difference just walking in them over my nike vomeras.
