I'm thinking of doing a nightcourse in a relatively new place. My concern is a place going bust in these times. if it happens, and youve paid for your course, what are your entitlements? any ideas?

Nothing in particular - there are no schemes that I'm aware of. If you pay by credit card, you might have some protection (but you would want to check with your card issuer beforehand).

Yes there are some leaner protections in place and may or may not say something like this on the course description:

Learner protection for this programme is provided in accordance with Section 43 of the Qualifications (Education and Training ) Act 1999.

I'm not sure of all of the exact details of this Act but there are some forms of protection, maybe check it out and see if any of it applies to you. Hope it helps!
