Finland vs Russia is an interesting one from an Irish perspective as it looks like Germany are the favourites to win their group so one of the above will likely wind up in the play-offs.

I hope then it's a win for the Finns tonight.

South American football night for me tonight! Really looking foward to Brazil -v- Paraguay. Hopefully Paraguay beat them!

    Cmon England!

Looks like Iran beat UAE 1-0.

Asia group B looks tight for the 2nd auto spot. N. Korea and Saudi on 11 points and Iran on 10 points with one game each left to play next Wed. Should be interesting.

Brazil game is on too late unfortunately, so will check out the Argentina game at 10pm on SS1.

I find the Ecuador v Argentina match fascinating

Ecuador need a win for 5th place,Argentina have been on the slide since Maradona took over and remember what happened Argentina in Bolivia
they dont like high altitudes and they'll be playing in another high altitude stadium tonight

I wouldnt suprised to see Ecuador win

and for man utd fans, valencia will be back tonight

I'll be watching Faroes v Serbia. Faroes U-21's beat Russia U21's 1-0 last night so it seems there is a bit of confidence in the country since Kerr arrived

I suppose I'm jumping the gun but england could score 10 based on the first 5 minutes.

Do we still play that? I thought we bowed out on a high after the WC last time?:)

Super touch from Rooney in the move that won the corner.

Good finish on the goal although him or Walcott should have put the earlier one away.

England getting sloppy. Shudda had a couple more.

    edit - that always works!

    Still though, you're absolutely right.

For the 80% possession, they haven't scored enough. Even though Andorra are eleven men behind the ball, england are getting through easily.

Crouch not really in it at all.

Great stuff from Beckham, he's really playing well.

Horrendous defending for that 6th goal. You'd be pisse doff conceding that in Junior football.

Goal rush for England at the mo, 7 from 7 looks good for us

Becks running the show with some superb passing. Constantly switching play and stretching a **** and tired defence. Cheeky Man Yoo offer for him in the summer please :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,945 ✭✭✭✭Headshot
