    Hi guys!

i got my scalp burned last week in the sun. I have fair skin and get burned easily. i avoid the sun as much as possible but really hate wearing and my hair gives my scalp very little cover.

I'm just wondering is there any protective spray that i can use to shield my scalp from further burning? i was thinking of using clear sun tan spray but i think that will just make my hair overly greasy(im blonde)!

I was at the hairdressers today and my scalp was in the peeling phase which looked like really bad dandruff and is very embarrassing!

Just looking for a few reccomondations or if any fair haired girls can share how they protect their scalp from sun damage?

i know your pain! i've tried using the clear sun spray on my scalp before-makes it greasy and didnt really work!
a fair skinned friend of mine got a product called scalp bloc in boots at jervis last year before he went to spain, and found it good. i remember trying to help him find it though and it wasn't easy! if you couldn't find anything in town maybe you'd find it online?
i just try cover up with a head scarf! :)

I have this problem too! During the sunny spell there a week or so ago, Boots had special offers on their Soltan range (they might still be doing it - not sure, though) and were doing 2 for 1. I needed sunblock anyway, but one of the other products they had was specifically for hair & scalp so I got it to try it considering the offer. It was €11.99 iirc. It makes hair a little greasy, but not too bad and worth it imo anyway. It was probably a little worse on me anyway because I've a fringe and that always looks greasier. This is a link to the product on the Boots site.
