organised a trip to cascais, outside of lisbon for family. taxi transfers from the airport very expensive, and no direct bus. just wondering if anyone used say an organised shuttle bus or anything..if so can you pass on the details??

    Went to Cascais last year.

There were two of us. What we did was:

Get a bus into town(€1.50) and then get the train out to cascais (€3). Its a great trip because you get to see how close cascais is to Lisbon. In addition, you pass Estoril.

The taxis aren't that expensive. We got a taxi from Cascais to the Airport and it cost about €20. It may be more expensive to pick on eup at the airport though. In reality, the big problem is the MASSIVE queue for taxis at the airport.

If you can manage it, get the bus into town and the train out. Its very straight forward
