ejecting memory key

    hey gang

    even after ejecting my memory keys properly, i still get a pop up window saying that i did not eject properly

    anyone experience something like this?

    dunno whats going on, everything else is perfect

    Has this been happening many times consistently or was it just a one time event?
    If the latter, then it's probably just some process still had some files open on your removable drive's filesystem.
    In this case it's generally not recommended to physically disconnect the drive as the file system cache may not have been flushed properly and you may lose data.

    Does it dismount when you click on eject in the Finder?

    Open up DiskUtility when your Drive is plugged in. It will give you a little more information on your portable Drive that may help. :)
