Aftermarket CD player fitted in Citroen Xsara

    Hi Guys,

When I bought my current car, 99 Xsara, it had an aftermarket Sony CD player fitted. Now while this works fine, the steering wheel mounted controls do not. They do not seem to be connected. I am wondering if it is possible to connect them up and whether or not it is a big job?

    Thanks in advance!

I would say it depends on the model number of the player. Some will work with wheel controls, some don't.
A guess is that if the player would work with the controls it would have been done when it was first fitted. Depends on who fitted it.
Easiest option, bring car to a audio specialist and let them have a look. They may have newer adapters etc.
