Updated Spoiler Rules

We have updated the spoiler rules, with regard to threads started, post-events. Usually after a major event there are two or three threads, aside from the main spoiler thread, focusing on various aspects of the event. This is fine except that the thread titles often give away the results of fights.

From UFC 99 onwards. we would appreciate if you could post vague thread titles, with spoiler warnings.

    So the thread title:
Silva KO's Franklin in 20 seconds

should be more along the lines of:
Spoiler - Silva vs Franklin @ UFC 99

The reasons we are doing this is because it will mean people dont have to avoid the board as soon as an event takes place. It also makes modding easier, as mods would tend to stay away until they had seen the event also.
This is very much a case of seeing how it goes, and evaluate after a few weeks. Feedback is appreciated so feel free to PM myself and cowzerp.

We have left the details fairly vague intentionally, as this rule is mostly about common sense. The upcoming UFC is on tv live at a resonable hour on a widely available "free" channel, so most people should see it relatively close to the air date. In this case, the new spoiler thread rules should only be relevant for a couple of days. For an event like Affliction, which may only air locally, a few days after the event occurs the new rules should be in effect for longer.

I am not sure how the new rules will work out, but if the appear to stiffle conversation, or result in excessive modding, we will review.

    Thanks
