UPC Modem -flashing whilst on line gaming ?

    Hi,

    I have been having some problems with LAG etc whilst on line gaming .
    The modem I am using is a Atlantic Scientific (i cant find specs or photos on line , Sorry).

    The "link" light flashes on the modem , is this normal ? as it is the only thing I can see that might be a problem after getting my line checked etc by UPC .
    The customer service could not answer my blinking light question ???????

    It might be normal but no harm in asking

    link should be flashing, this shows the traffic between the modem and pc/router.
