On the 21 June Dublin Zoo are attempting a world record for most teddys at a picnic. Its half price entry €7.50 adults and €5 for kids over 3.

    There is also
    free face painting
    Keeper Talks
    Story Telling
    Teddy tombola

Should be a good day depending on the weather.

Well, the alternative is the hideously expensive ones in the souvenier shop :P

Teddybear's picnic also on in Fota on the same day, don't think they have the same half price admission price though. We have a fota card so will probably go anyway! No shortage of teddies in my house:)

The place will be jammed with screaming monkeys , and there'll be loads of noisy animals too. Dont go with a hangover whatever ya do.

Just a note to say there is no mention of half price adult admissions on that link.

Well spotted Delly. If parents were half price I would have gone.

Sounds like the worst day ever to go to the zoo!

Thanks for the heads up, OP. ;)

says half price for every child with a teddy so it will be €15 per adult(16years or older) and €5.25 per child and special needs children €2.75(between 3 and 16) and the teddies go free:)
