The Third Way - *toilet warning*

    AH'ers I discovered something today.

I had always assumed that when leaving the jacks, a man had two choices, with a single subset.

    1. Wash hands
1(i) Wash hands under dryer - the heat kills the bacteria, but you don't get wet.(not recommended)

    2. Don't wash hands.

However, I have discovered a subset of option 2.

Turn on tap - don't wash hands.

This seems to me to be the worst of both, since not only is your hand still filthy from your reincarnated dinner, but it now features a little bit of everyone elses, since they all pushed the same tap button, prior to washing their hands.
The only advantage that I see is that people think you washed your hands, but if you are going to stand over the sink, and turn on the tap, IMO you may as well give them a quick scrub.
Even if only so you can flick water from your hands into the cubicles as you make your exit.

What other weird bathroom behaviours have you noticed?

Doesn't matter, as soon as you open the door your hand is touching other peoples germs!

Just for the record I still wash my hands.

Taps and door handles are usually stainless steel as bactaria will not survive on this. It needs somewhere warm and damp!

As a sub sub sub set (?) of number 1, what is the weirdest method you have seen people washing there hands. I remember when I was a young pup I went into a public restroom to find a man standing on one leg with his other leg being used to keep the button on the tap pushed down as he washed his hands. Even though it happened a long time ago I can still safely say that it was the most awesome thing I have ever seen.

Misleading title, I thought this was going to be about some strange third bodily function done in toilets...

Hand dryers work by taking air from around them(which is all poo and piss particles) and blowing them on your hands, this can in no way be considered washing your hands and is just dirtying more:confused:

I don't think anything is more awesome than that guy.

Guys wash their hands after using the bathroom? Surely they could cut down on water use by sprinkling their hands with the already sterile urine? No?
