Lads Holiday in Augest!!!

    Me and 10 of my mates are going on holidays in augest to Playa del Ingles stayin in the Koka apartments.Is this a good or a bad call?Keeping in mind were just going for the craic and going out.Also had any one stayed in these apartments?is security strict?Whats playa as a whole like?

    PdI is perfect for a gang of lads. It's a dump for anyone else trying to holiday there. Koka apartments have been there a VERY long time and the building is quite dated now, I'd say. I've never stayed there, but it's a pretty good base for a lads holiday in terms of its location. It's on the corner of the Kasbah and 3 minutes one way to the Irish center (the worst shithole imaginable, imho) and 5 minutes the other way to the Yumbo center.

    I love Gran Canaria, but it's here and Pto. Rico that give the island its bad reputation. Head out beyond San Agustin for the go-kart circuit. It's excellent and reasonably priced too. The waterpark up behind Maspalomas is pretty good too.

    Thanks Mike.yea i heard its a bit of a dump alri but im not that bothered tbh.Ha.

    I take then the crowd is young because were all around 21 and hopin theres a lot of female about!!ha.

    That's about the average age. I think one of my colleagues is staying in the Koka apts in August too on a girly holiday, so there'll be at least 3!

    Last time I was in GC, I went into PdI on the evening the Leaving Cert results were out, just for the spectacle of it. Kids passed out in doorways, vomit on the pavements... That was 6pm!
