Marraige Registration Form Query

    Hello everyone,

My friends got married 1 week ago and they have since gone on their honeymoon. They have left me with their Marraige Registration Form to send off to the registar.

Now obviously I want to get this 100% right!! They didn't leave me with much instructions as to where and what to send!

From reading the bits that I have, I've to send the Marraige Registration Form within the green folder to the Civil Registration Office, in Joyce house on Lombard Street? I just want to make sure that I don't have to send off the letters that came with it or the actual marraige cert received from the church?

Will be sending mine off in December so thanks for any help you can give me!

    hey

Just be careful posting it, maybe use registered post. The MRF is so important in order for the marriage to be recognised it has to be registered. Or you can drop it in there open from 9:30 to 4 inclusive there based just beside Pearse Street Dart station. It can be dropped into any registration office in the county/country if you ring Joyce House on 01 8638200 to see where the nearest one is to you. If posting it see address below

    Marriage Section
    SRO
    Joyce House
    8/11 Lombard Street East
    Dublin 2

Thanks for replying Jellyjelly, I managed to get in touch with them yesterday evening and I'm going to post it off to that address you've listed there by registered post later on today.

I don't know why I agreed to do it, registered post should be fine though.
