Back office room tracking system

    Require a system to track books for a small guesthouse. I have an online booking system in place but I get phone and walk in bookings that I would like to record. At the moment these are all logged on paper but wish to move to a software solution with more than one login.
    Require also to be able to access this system online so is there a system that will provide this or do I need to host this myself. This opens up the security issues to me that I will need to investigate but know little about at the moment.

    Any recommendations?

    Best bet is a content management website where by you can have as many logins as you like with. No software needed either as the reservations system, which can be manually updated from the back end, contains all the programs you need and is fool proof to work with. The reservations system will also hold a data base of all your customers which is very good for marketing purposes and the like. Pm if you need anymore ideas.

    Yes your best bet is to get a content management system, basically a front end website that stores the data in the back end database. There are quite a few free out there that might suit, google asp.net / ms access booking system or php / mysql booking system and you should come across some. You can host these with most hosting companies for a relatively low cost. I've developed many of these myself so if you need further info PM me.
