    I am going to alton tower in July.I am going to manchester from cork and getting train to stoke.However, what time do I have to arrive at the airport before the flight if I use the web check in?Also, can't get train from stoke to manchester. What times are the buses to Crewe or Stafford from Stoke?Tanx.

    Boarding is usually 30 mins before the flight departs. You have to be at the gate for this time.

    Do allow time as well for security checks, unexpected delays and whatever else.

    Personally I'd aim to be at the airport 2 hours beforehand if I was relying on a bus. Worst case then I can jump out of the bus and hail a taxi (it'll cost, but I'll make my plane).

    Tanx Random, I will probably aim to be there at least an hour before the flight.Does anyone have info on stoke buses?
