I was wondering if someone could recommend a stretching dvd.

It's an area that I struggle to stay focused on and that I really think that I could improve upon.

I thought that a dvd might be a good way to ensure that I give it that proper time and also that I improve my technique and exercise range.

If anyone had any recommendations I'd really appreciate it.

The link below is fairly detailed. Its 30 minutes long and free though you have to view it online only so it can be a little stickly depending on your connection speed.

Some other good video articles on the site too

Although I might come across as anti-stretching :), I'd recommend Yoga for Athletes DVD. I think irishfit have them, about 20Euro. A good Yoga session but also has a number of 8 min clips, one for swimmers, one for runners, one for cyclists etc. if you don't have the time for the full session. For whatever reason, I find the swimming clip better for running than the running one.

Or if you can find it there's an old Ali McGraw (the actress) Yoga DVD, which is excellent.

You've got to be careful though because with some of these type DVD's teh presenter can be so annoying it's too unbearable, but I can vouch that the 2 above (? Rodney Yee is the presenter of the athletes one) keep nice and quiet :).

+1, haven't got that DVD, but for Ali McGraw in general.

Ali McGraw wouldn't hold much fascination I'm afraid.... what with me being of the female persuasion and all!
