Headin to Krakow for a week next month with the girlfriend, anybody have any recommendations for places to eat/drink etc. and any other stuff to do (apart obviously from Auschwitz and Salt mines). Anything would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

Krakow is amazing. I remember us spending most of our time around the markets and admiring the architecture. It's got incredible history. Was a while ago though, so I'm not too helpful. I just remember an amazing Hungarian place to eat. The food is generally good, but traditional Polish food is... well, not really for Irish palates (in my opinion) :D

    Great beer too!

Not a fan of spuds, pork and cabbage? :)

I was there last week. beer was €2 for a 50cl 'pint'. Excellent stuff too.

Must have been the Pierogi. It left a lasting impression, lol.

Wasn't mad about a lot of the stews, but in saying that, I'd certainly give it another go.

Plenty of culinary surprises from all over Europe and Russia.
