    A guy who kept spare heads in a barn and swapped them around. Kids tv shows are not what they used to be.

    There was an episode with an evil scarecrow that the crowman wouldn't finish because he was "too evil". He had no eyes! ;_;

    I'll have a cup o’ tea an’ a slice o’ cake!

    I loved Worzel Gummidge..great show. The wee girl Sue played by Charlotte Coleman died in 2001 of an asthma attack. Here's the opening credits.

    I used to love that show as a kid. Seen it again recently on dvd and it seemed more dark than i remember it,maybe it was youthful innocence that blinded me to it?!!

    Strange show alright. Used to like the adventures that they would get up to. Was he always trying to get back to somewhere?

    Same here & I want compensation from someone for that.

    I actually used to love it but I don't think I could even watch it now. He's just so so freaky!

    The Crow man freaked me out as a Kid, watched the show
    but never quite liked it apart from the opening music.

    Liked Aunt sally the Bi*ch! :D
    Felt sorry for poor ol Worzel but his character
    annoyed me more often than not.

    The girl I remember fancying sort of as a kid,
    the Boy was annoying.
    The Evil scarecrow I remember was bizzare.

    There was an episode of it once where all these bad scarecrows at a scarecrow wedding or party or something attacked Worzel and pulled him apart, that was scary:eek:. I didn't like when he'd change his head..the way he'd yank it off. I remember he had a 'handsome' head where his hair was black and he wore a monocle..think he might've had a 'clever' head too, I'm not sure. Remember the song 'you put a wor after w and a wor after o, a wor after r and away we go!'
