We are looking to go to Euro Disney for 2-4 nights, we have 2 kids who will be 12 and 9 at time of travel.

Can anyone recommend what is the best way to book this either with the hotel themself and get our own flights or packages from holiday agents???

Ryanair to Beavauis. Get the bus to Paris and get the train to Marne La Vallee/Val D'Europe(Eurodisney) and stay in the Santa Fe Disney Hotel.

Or Hire a car. I always rent a car in Beauvais but most people get the bus which is ALWAYS packed.

    Book here

Second the above regarding the bus. If you are going to rent a car I'd recommend these guys http://www.arguscarhire.com/ . I've been to Disneyland paris 3 times and used them. Regarding hotels depending on your budget any of the disney hotels I would recommend. Have stayed it 3 of theirs near the park.

if aerlingus is not too dear ,perhaps choose it, then you can rail it from Charles de Gaulle. (have not done this personally but the two are close.)

taking a car is the best option, and shortens the journeys. e.g. if you choose the early ryanair flight home, you will need to be up very early from wherever you stay ,just to get the early bus from port maillot.

the disney hotels are excellent, but you can stay at premier class, etap, formula one etc a few junctions away if you have a car.

Study all the options , the cheapest air fares may not be the best choices.

Thanks everyone, I will look into these options. We would prefer to stay onsite and not hire a car as it will only be a short stay and don't want to be travelling to much.

    Thanks again.

Aer Lingus is IMO almost always the best option, esp. if travelling with kids. Once you arrive in France the train only takes 15 minutes to get to the park as opposed to 1 -> 1.5 hours via Beauvais.

    Yeah, I'd do this too.

Plus, you don't have to stay at the Disney hotels if they're out of your price range. Anywhere in Paris along the train line will do, as it's quick at stops right at it. Cheap too. Stayed around La Defense I think. I remember it being quite central to everything really!!

Here's an idea. Why not try self-catering.

    2 bedroomed apartment 2kms from Disney: 100 euro/night (sleeps 6)
Ryanair to Beauvais : Cheap as chips
Private transfer to apartment : 110 euro each way

I used ValEurproperties.com for the selfcatering and ezyshuttle.com for the transfer and of course the (in)famous Ryanair.ie for the flight.

The big advantage to selfcatering is 'space', especially when you want a quiet evening when the kids are in bed.

The above with regards to space is positive.

We stayed in a room in the Santa Fe and I went outside with my two bottles of beer for a smoke to find many parents huddled around the table drinking and smoking whislt the OH had to convince the child to share the room with us.

    hi,

we always stay on-site my 2 are younger so things like having character in the hotel and emh are a huge advantage, we always stay in hotel on holidays so the space thing wouldnt bother me esp in disney where u only sleep in the room and its only for 3/4 nights. we hav flown to beauvais and cdg and time wise there isnt a huge diffrence because beauvais is such a tiny airport it literly takes you 15min from your plane to ur car (we book private transfers) and it takes 1hr 15min to get there so in total from d plane to hotel 1hr 30mins. last time in cdg it took us about 45min to get outa d airport plus 40min transfer. total from plane to disney 1hr 25mins.
i know the tgv only takes 10min but once you factor in getting to the train maybe waiting for the nxt one even if its only 10 min and then when you get to disney station getting to ur hotel from there ur will prob hav already got there in a private transfer with alot hassel.

were going nxt wk to beauvais again flight for 5 of us plus 3 bags= 160+250 private transfer = 410 i priced air france + transfers from cdg it would hav cost us 1,410. we fly from shannon so no aer lingu*s but ive find them a nightmare to fly with esp with small kids anyway.

doe we are going back in nov and air france fares are alot less so will fly when them then. i always price up both options and which ever is cheapest i fly to that airport.

ment to say dont book through travel agents they cost you alot more, also rem by booking with disney your park tickets are included, you might find a off-site hotel quite reasonable but by the time u add on park passes for all of you it will add up. look at disneylandparis.com they hav partner hotels aswell which run free shuttle buses to d park, they do apartments call d'adigio apartments (i think) there called there on d disney site anyway.
