IR Remote causing Problems

Hi all, Have a quick question..at least hope it's quick. I'm having trouble accesing the console in Oblivion more than likely due to my laptops IR reciever....I only play it on my laptop because it plays it better than my PC which has a Pentium 4 and 7600gt! Anyways, I go to the Device manager and locate the IR reciever…

Hi all,

Have a quick question..at least hope it's quick.

I'm having trouble accesing the console in Oblivion more than likely due to my laptops IR reciever....I only play it on my laptop because it plays it better than my PC which has a Pentium 4 and 7600gt!

Anyways, I go to the Device manager and locate the IR reciever under Human Interface devices but cannot diable the "ITECIR Infared Reciever (EC)" on right click the option doesn't appear. Also can't disable teh ""Microsoft eHome Infared Tranceiver"
There re alot of HID-compliant consumer control devices listed too but shoulld I risk trying to disable them?

Anyone got a suggestion?
Really would appreciate it.
