Hi, was wondering if anyone could give me directions to get to CIT from the west Cork side of the city. Also is it alright for parking? Really appreciate any response. Good luck to all in the exams!

    Hi

CIT is located on hte west side of the city anyway , so you should be able to find it ok.

Parking should be ok at this time of hte year and in the morning anyway. Don't be put off by "staff" car parking. There is Barrier "FEE" parking by the football pitches, but if you go passed them about 30 seconds later there is a free open space to park.

Directions: I;m not sure where exactly you are coming from but if i take it that you come to the Bandon Road ~(Dunnes Stores) roundabout. Take the exit to Bishopstown. Go to the first set of traffic lights and turn left up a small road - i think its called Hawkes road.

At the top of the road take another left. ( you should see some student accommodation on the right hand side called Deans Hall)

Then go into the right hand turning lane and take a right turn onto Melbourne Road.

Go straight along Melbourne Road - Don;t worry if it looks a bit too residential to be hiding a College!

Go throught the traffic lights until you come to the roundabout .

Take a left at the roundabout (you;ll see red brick new building of the college anyway)

You are there then, so just have a look out for Car Parking etc

Best of luck in the exams

    R
