    Hi all,

We are going to France in July for 5 days and were thinking of the Eiffel Tower Restaurant and Cruise - The restaurant is Altitude 95 - Anyone been or any recommendations for a nice dinner and something to do.

    Thanks

By the way - any recommendations for somewhere to stay for the night ? as we are travelling to Nantes for 4 days after it - so will only be in Paris for 1 night.

Carolinei there are a LOT of threads with help on Paris hotels so give a little search and get back to us if you don't find anything.

Altitude is probably worth it if you can afford it and find an empty table :)

Definitely do the river cruise - you get a different perspective on the city and can appreciate so much - the architecture, the bridges, the sights etc. I'm sooooo jealous, Paris is my favourite city!

I have had lunch on the Eiffel Tower but in the Jules Verne restaurant. It has changed hands recently as far as I can figure out and is much more expensive. It was amazing at the time though. I'm sure the restaurant you are thinking abotu will create just as great an experience. I am actually going to Paris myself the weekend after next and I will be doing the dinner cruise that time! I have been on the normal cruises before and always loved them so I thought I would treat my OH this time and bring him on the dunner cruise. I will let you know how it goes if you are interested. A friend of mine did it at Christmas and loved it. We're going with Bateaux Parisien.
