My legs hurt from walking home drunk at five o'clock in the morning, and I have to clean up the stupid kitchen. Will go out later though.

Sounds like you are looking at the wrong parts of the internet.

Too much of that is not good for the soul. Maybe think about what could be done to try fixing all that bad stuff, rather than drowning in it. E.g. join amnesty or somesuch.

Boy are you in the wrong palce! People around here thrive on that kind of stuff.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Surely the drubbing the Irish electorate gave FF and the Greens must restore, even temporarily, your faith in than section of humanity?

In the span of the last ten minutes, I've seen an article about a father injecting his infant son with HIV+ blood, a mother adding feces to her 3-year-old daughter's IV, David Carradine's death photo in a Thai newspaper, albinos in Africa being slaughtered for magical purposes, and a story about a 17-year-old beating and raping an 8-month-old to death.

Someone please restore my faith in humanity :( Post some warm, uplifting articles, it's a nice bright sunny Sunday afternoon and I need cheer, not gloom.
I didnt do any of these things and im human.Have faith in me :D

Right then, a few weeks ago I bought some old wooden beams taken from the roof of a deralict building in town. They are of varying lengths but are very chunky (3" x 8")... I have cleared an area at the side of the house and have made 4 raised garden beds for vegetable growing. Ive planted lettuce, brocoli, cauliflower and cabbage.
I also have tomatoe plants but their indoors. I have plans to construct a 'growning dome' out the back. This will go up bit by bit, then I will have year round vegetables. There are only two of us so any surplus veg will be given away to neighbours, or when we go visiting.
We are lucky to be living where we are :)

Unfortunately there will different stories to replace the ones you mentioned tomorrow.

I avoid those type of stories if i can. I'm just more selective on what I read now.

If the first article upset you did you not think the second would too? And the third? And So on and so forth. You must have a morbid fascination with reading horrific articles on the internet.

I use a user-generated news website called digg.com that shows thread titles and a brief description. I read the titles and descriptions as I scrolled through the website. It's not like I actively searched them out, they just all happened to appear while I was going through. I ain't THAT morbid.

I don't think faith can be restored so we should stick with cute aminal videos:D

Considering yesterday was the 65th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings, looking at the sacrifices those people were willing to make and the sacrifices people are still willing to make in recent times, those that have died have my eternal respect and those that survived I will be forever in awe of them... Folk like that are the reason I have complete faith in humanity.

You'll see stories about sick **** more often than good news because it's more likely to catch peoples attention. There's a whole lot more good than bad happening in this world IMO.

You could add o that list OP

the muslim mother who while managing to keep social services , school , police , neighbours at bay for months on end ,starved her young daughter to death .The childs screams were ignored by neighbours because 'they didn't want to get involved ''

    You could also add

the torture to death of the two frenchmen in London by two phyopaths who only for police incompetence, should have already being locked away .Two timebombs who went off in the most horrific way imaginable

Now now let's not be too harsh here. Canada is responsible for the Care Bears Movie... For that I shall be eternally grateful.

ah, liah. this sort of inhumanity is all too commonplace these days and your only defence against the "scaries" is to turn your back and ignore as much as poss. 4 or 5 young bravehearts tried to kick a 60 plus year old man to death near where i live only last night. is evolution starting to unwind .
ps, thanks tago mago that had me crying with laughter .....the monkey :D
    was special. :p

Paul Daniels has been accussed of being responsible for the slaugher of Albinos in Africa, assisted by Debbi Allen, in an attempt to get his magic career back on track.

Shops in Africa have said there has been an increased numbers of Albinos buying Just For Men and Egyptian Wonder self tan.
