I hate it, everyone on it and all the presenters. I also hate the way E4 Music is replaced with footage of people sleeping for about two monthes.

It's like a zombie that gets repeatedly shot in a bad horror film- it just won't die!

    I despise Big Brother.
I can honestly say it is my least favourite show on television and when it's on I make a point of not only boycotting it, but boycotting all Channel 4 and E4 shows when its on.

I enjoyed the first ever Big Brother, and I watched some of the second. After that, the house started filling up with pretentious gits just looking for an easy step on the ladder to fame and millions.

The first set of housemates had no idea how popular the programme was and how famous they became as they were holed up. No designer outfits for entry to and departure from the house. No outrageous characters, except for Nasty Nick and he was a pussycat compared to what you see in there now.

I can't understand those who spend time watching it on E4 waiting for exciting bits to happen, I always preferred to watch the highlights. Though I haven't watched it since 2003....

I loved it in the first couple of years, because it was about normal people in an unusual situation. And the psychology shows were very interesting, such a pity they dropped it.

Then it started to get infiltrated by "glamma" models and reality tv wannabes who all knew each other from the London club scene and auditions for various TV shows. That's when it started getting yawnsome.

I read somewhere that a BB contestant who gets her boobs out in the house gets paid less money (up to 10K difference) for a glamour photoshoot than one who didn't. Why that nugget of info has stuck in my head, I don't know :)

Having said that, I did see part of the opening night and will probably just flick to see the eviction interview if I'm at home. You read so much about BB in the papers that you really don't need to watch the show.

The novelty wore off years ago.

Im fairly sure watching BB causes brain damage.

I couldn't agree more. For me the novelty wore off after the 1st Big Brother. I reckon the only reason it's still on C4 is cos it's very cheap telly to 'make' and they make a fortune on the 'voting'

Freak show television. People are described by single traits in the tabloids, not their names. Lesbian takes on the single mum who takes on the virgin who takes on the boxer or etc etc.

Ugly people (in spirit rather than looks, although...)

Hopefully the woeful viewing figures will make up Channel fours mind to finally put down this abomination of a television show.

I don't think words can convey my hatred for the show. Idiots, those on it, and those who watch it.

I concur, if nobody watched it there wouldn't be a market for this drivel.

I go to extremes. If I watch it I get totally incredibly addicted and love it. If I don't let myself watch it I cannot stand to see even 2 minutes of the bloody thing.

    Not watching this year's one.

Missed the first series, I was out of the country. Arrived back to everyone raving about it, but I never got the point. Still haven't.

I do remember liking ‘the real world’ on MTV though… was about free student housing or something…

This show went to SH!T after the first three years. I used 2 think it was interesting as a sort of psychological-social experiement but, like people have been sayin, all they put n the house now are wannabe celebrities, OTT fake-outrageous numbnuts, and ditch-thick 'glamour' models. Paying for a TV licence 2 watch that annual fcukface-fest?? pah!

I agree that those psychology shows that they used to do where they analysed participants' behaviour were very interesting, and even educational/useful.

Although i think Brian Dowling is a fcukin eejit n general, I must admit that I was delighted for the fcuker (hey,he was Irish) when he won that show in... 2001??

Davina McCall is a pain in the h@le as well

Well said Mojo...my sentiments.Methinks also that there is a commercial conspiracy involving the tabloid industry and the Big Brother promoters.."Feed the crap to the masses" attitude

I really enjoyed the first 3-4 series but after that, they seemed to choose the lowest of the lowest common denomination of person to take part. I haven't seen more than 1 episode of this years - they all seem like horrible people, including the Irish one who "worked hard to get here" - I bet your momma is proud of you.

Words can not convey my distinct hatred for the show full of socialy imcompetent people and their pityful quest for fame.

If I wanted to watch people with borderline personality disorders, I'd just park my chair in the middle of my local council estate and I'd still get more enjoyment watching the characters there, than from watching that excuse for entertainment.
