I'm looking to buy a roughly 6 ft high young either oak or hardwood tree for planting.

I'm in Galway, will be going the Dangan nursery today for a look but it the only place I know of locally.

Can anyone help with a suggestion on where to source one?

    Thanks....

Future Forests (http://www.futureforests.net/) will bring one to you - it's also a good place to get a lovely Irish mixed fruiting hedge.

But remember that as the child is father to the man, the little oaklet is father to the giant oak - careful where you plant it.
