Working for a BVI company.. What rights do I have?

    Hi everyone.

I work for a Norwegian company, but I'm employed by their BVI branch.
Lately there has been talk about people being let go, and even though I've heard nothing, I suspect I may be one of them.

What rights would I have as an employee of a BVI registered company?

A little bit background on me.
I am a norwegian citicen, and I work offshore (5 weeks on 5 weeks off), but after moving to Ireland a few years ago, I decided to stay there even though I didn't have to anymore..
The company is Norwegian, but have two registered sub-companies, a BVI and one in the US. My paycheck comes from Norway, and my HR matters were handled by a UK HR outsourcer..

So.. What rights would I have if the company should want to let me go for any reason? Would they have to follow norwegian or irish law, european law, or is there no law at all for employees of BVI registered companies?
