    Hi Folks,

This is one of my first posts on this site. I hope I have it in the right section.

Many thanks (this a copy and pasted email I have circulated).

    Hi Folks,

After the fantastic festival we witnessed in Galway recently and especially the display by the red arrows I feel we should try to bring back the Galway Airshow in 2010.

My aim for now is to simply generate an energy behind such an endeavour. In addition to this email I will be making contact with the general public through various mediums.

I simply ask please, if you would be in support of re-establishing the Galway Airshow, email galwayairshow2010@gmail.com to voice your support. A simple "hi, yes I am in support of bringing the Galway Airshow back in 2010" will suffice. I would also be very interested to hear from businesses who may be interested in taking a more active supporting role.

Once I have collected enough names I will forward the support to the powers that be i.e. the past organisers, the politicians, the county council and any other relevant parties.

In the interest of balance I would greatly appreciate hearing any concerns anyone may have on this topic so, if you are against bringing the Galway Airshow or simply wish to raise various concerns please voice them to the same email address galwayairshow2010@gmail.com

I think most of you will agree Galway and her populace will benefit greatly from the Airshow, especially in these recessionary times.

Many thanks in advance for all your emails, supportive or otherwise!!!!

(Please forward this email to as many people as you see fit)

    Cheers folks
