Which 26" or 32"

Moving into new apt with small living room. Need TV mainly for NTL Digital, also Laptop display & maybe Xbox 360. Other half insists 32" is too big, so looking at 26" any recommendations? Like the look of new Panisoncs. Any opinions on 32" v 26" personally I'd be happier with 32" full HD. Thanks - Harry
