Girls - what do you think of Eastern European men ?

Chatting to some lads in the pub last night and we were remarking on the very pretty Polish hottie serving in the bar. The lads all agreed to a man that Eastern European women were the business !!!! ( Ok, you cann't say every single one of them, but you know what I mean.)
Looks wise the Irish women can compare to any others as far as I am concerned, but lets admit, their are quite a lot of Irish men and women, overweight. (I train in the gym several times a week myself so I don't consider meself in that category :rolleyes:)

So what I'm basically saying girls, do eastern European men do it for Irish women ? Or would you rather a loveable but porky Paddy ?

They dont do it for me at all-likewise i dont find the e.european women to be great looking either.I know one Lithuanian who is very pretty but thats it.Just my opinion

I would have thought girls would love Central/ Eastern European guys. Maybe it's a financial thing?

My sister was telling me she went out on a date with a Hungarian guy in London, and he had a pretty good job but wanted to take her to Burger King:D. Looks wise though, I'm surprised girls aren't more into them in general. I so would.

If I didn't have my tshirt with the three wolves on it, I'd probably be worried about the competition.

Interesting and unexpected comments so far, especially Jake1 and bodybuilders. So it seems so far, Irish women would rather Porky Paddy than a peice of beefcake.

The ones that come to Ireland generally don't earn large salaries so they're not attractive to high-maintenance Irish women. Pretty simple really.

not every guy with big muscles is into bodybuilding. maybe they are powerlifters, weightlifters, strongmen competitors etc

i know one totally gorgeous polish guy, but in general they dont really do it for me. can't really beat an irish guy for great personality and sense of humour

I wouldn't be into either tbh. Somewhere there between is fine. I maked a thread on this recently btw. I think the E.Europeans are quite good looking.

In terms of dress sense a lot of eastern european men do tend to be living in the seventies, like a shave headed bulked up version of the Fonz.

A few a very good-looking, lots are not at all.

Quite a lot are sort of good looking, except they look a bit gray, like they're ill from radiation poisoning or have grown up eating dodgy canned food from the Ukraine.

They dress like its still 1993.

I was thinking maybe some irishmen might be envious of the attention giving to irish women by foreign / east european men and vice versa ie, irishmen on foreign women .

Actually Romanian men I like. The one I have met have all been absolute gentlemen.

I haven't come across a Polish man I could put up with.
The not very many ones I have met are vain, self important, nakedly ambitious and domineering in the not good way.

I like that Lithiuian culchie look. Big ox men that are carved from hard graft.
My eastern european friends say that they are stereotypically abusive pigs though.

A friend of mine is Lithuanian. She is unbelievably high-maintainence and I never realised they all expect men to pay for all that. Different mentality to most Irish women. Regarding Eastern European men, all generalisations aside went for a meal with one once and didn't like that idea. I prefer Irish men, faults and all, for they seem to understand our feistiness. My friend has explained to me that men expect them to be thin and as such would often suggest they eat less and exercise more, I'd prefer a man who values me and not just the way I look.

Absolutely not for me.... my sis goes out with a polish bloke, and though he is nice, he is not my type.... he treats her very well though.

Me, I like western european men - french, german, english or irish.

I don't find eastern european men attractive in general - I do know one very friendly good looking guy but that's about it.

I HATE when muscles are so big that they can't even put there arms down by their sides!!!! Not too bothered about rugged good looks, I think most girls are about personality???

My sis in law went out with a lithuanian guy before, total control freak, he once told her on christmas day to stop eating :eek: If she spoke to another guy (even one she'd known for years) he completely flipped. Now - the same could have happened with any guy from any country, he was an asshole plain and simple.
