i've just been looking at some medical school websites based in the carribbean islands, they offer 4 year medical degrees based on the US medical school system and even offer the final 2 clinical years in the UK, as the saying goes when something seems to good to be true it usually is?? anyone got any info on this?

To be honest, I would actually go ring the NHS in the UK to see if you can get better info there. I reckon that some of the schools are genuine/reputable, but others are just out to swindle you.

Have you considered medical schools closer to home, like Central and Eastern Europe? I know a guy studying medicine in Prague, I think he pays 8k per year and he's currently on placement in London.
