I know there is usually a thread on moisturiser somewhere in this forum but I'm wondering can anyone recommend a good, light-base moisturiser that is slightly tinted (not tango) and has good SPF? If it exists! and where I can get it? Thanks

I use clinique city block sheer, its spf25 and has a nice light tint. I find it a great tinted moisturiser, but its not advertised as a moisturiser, but for my slightly oily skin its perfect. Its also available in spf40 which i am going to get next, didn't see if when I was buying the spf25.

Benifit You Rebel Lite tinted moisturiser, SPF 15 available in Brown Thomas or on the net. I use it myself, and love it, cost approx 35 yoyos though.

I use the clinique one as well, find it very good. It also mixes nicely with my regular clinique moisturiser if I want to lighten it up a bit. I bought it recently in New York, the clinique is great value in the USA if you are planning a trip.

Laura Mercier does a tinted moisturiser but it is £34 so not sure if yu want to pay thata much but the coverage is amazing- like a foundation but without that caked feeling and it comes in an oil free version.

    IMO totally worth the money

I brought the Clinique one away on a round the world trip with me, annoyed me towards the end though cause the mixture kept separating and was quote oily but before that it was fine. But did the job for the majority of the time.

BeneFit You Rebel is definitely the way to go.

Haven't tried the lite one, but have heard good things. I use the regular one (in the red tube) and find the coverage great. I'm sallow enough so it suits my tone and you can use it sparingly so it lasts ages. I've had mine for a year and still have half a tube left.

And the trick is to blend a LOT!

Traceless by Prescriptives is very lightweight and extremely sheer and natural in terms of the color. The only problem is that the SPF is only 8, I believe. Pleasant scent too.

Definitely try You Rebel before you buy. It only comes in two shades, normal and lite. Both are intended for sallow skin. If you are naturally fair skinned it will look appaling. I have pale skin and found the regular one made me orange and the lite one made me yellow, and I'm not talking subtle shades of either! I looked like I'd been involved in a chemical accident or was in the late stages of severe jaundice. I have read online that alot of other people have the same issues with it.

I know you are paying for quality but are there any cheaper ones than these!? :o If something is good I don't mind paying for it but if I could something equally good for a bit less...call me cheap...:P

I use an Olay one called "Touch of Sun" or something like that. I find it gives a nice subtle colour. I didn't think it was doing much until I stopped using it for a couple of days! It just makes you look a bit healthier. I'm quite fair and it didn't make me go orange or anything.

I got clinique city block SPF 40 recently it was €22 and I use it every day, have done for a few years, the tube usually lasts me about two months.

Do you find it white-ish or chalky?
I've read some people complain that it's like a high spf suncream in so far as it leaves you with a bit of a white film on your face.
