Couple Q's with regard to Ryanair

So I am off to Spain next month just wanted to know do we need to do online check in now rather than in the airport even though we have bags to check in?

Also my dad and I are Dutch nationals , as we are a part of Schengen do we need to provide the Advanced Passenger Info that Ryanair require for Spain flights?

You can check in at the airport if you booked the flight before 20th May. And yes, any passenger, regardless of nationality has to provide the advance passenger information if you travel from Ireland or the UK to Spain.

OK so let me get this straight. I booked flights last week to Spain with ryanair. Waiting for new passport to arrive, when it does (approx a few days before departure) I will do online checking and provide advance passenger info. So then I get my boarding card that I can show passport control to enter gate area in airport yeah? Basically I'm not going up to a check in desk in the airport anymore prior to my flight, yeah? If that's the case who is checking the weight and size of my luggage? My partner and I will have one carry on piece and one check in bag each. Where is this bag drop off point in Dublin airport?

Basically can anyone shed some light on the precise steps to take with these type of ryanair flights that are different from before.

When youi go into the airport, go directly to the Ryanair area and there will be a couple of counters deciated to bag dropoffs. You still need to leave some extra time to do this as the last couple times I was there, there is still long queues as people spend alot of time arguing over the size and weight of the carry on luggage!. you can then proceed through the security check with your printed out boarding card.
