Ryanair U16's

Since 20th May 2009 Ryanair will not accept bookings for unaccompanied 14 and 15 year olds (tickets booked before this are ok) and I'm wondering if there's a way around this.
My 14 year old son was going to fly to Spain to spend a week with his friend and family that live there and then the 2 boys were going to fly back here and spend some time with us.
I was thinking of booking him an adult return ticket Dublin to Gerona and get him to check in online and print his boarding card out himself. My concern is if he was turned away on the day.
    What do you guys think?

They'll probably spot him at boarding, especially when they look at his ID

And even if he got through, what if they stopped him at the way back?

So I wouldn't chance it, frankly.

I've booked him on Aer Lingus to Toulouse as it was too risky. I also found out the only reason Ryanair are doing it is because for 14 and 15 year olds to travel unaccompanied a parent or guardian has to check them in and sign them off at the desk and Ryanair are keen to get rid of their check in posts.
