On Saturday July 4th, Lunar Disko celebrates 3 years of monthly parties in the Kennedys basement, with the help of Sneak-Thief's Live show, and Crème Organization boss, DJ TLR.
Producer and performer Michel Morin (aka Sneak-Thief and Polygamy Boys) returns to Lunar Disko for the fourth time this coming July.
Since 1997, Sneak-Thief has performed throughout Europe and North America with his all hardware Live show, and the Berlin based musician knows exactly how to get people on the dancefloor. His tracks are a magic mix of electro-funk, techno and disco, and has released on numerous labels such as Goodlife (France), Bunker (Den Haag), Mighty Robot (Scotland), Creme Organization (Holland), and our own Lunar Disko Records.
In the pursuit of melding man and machine, he’s also been busy the past 5 years designing and constructing his own custom analog modular synths and live performance sequencers, which now sit proudly in his studio and are an integral part of the Sneak-Thief Live show. Since playing at our first ever party, DJ TLR has become one of our favourite DJ's due to his blistering sets on each of his visits. He never fails to rock the party with his killer mix of italo, electro, Chicago and acid trax.
His record label, Crème Organization, was founded in 2001 as the disco offspring of Bunker Records, but has since then been 100% independent and self- indulgent. What started out as a playground for TLR aka Mr Clavio, soon grew to more serious proportions with the debut release of Bangkok Impact and consecutive releases by Legowelt, Orgue Electronique and a slew of other - now classic - disco and electro producers centered around the Dutch West-Coast.
Fast forward 8 years and Crème Organization has become a household name in the Electro/Disco/Chicago underground with a strong catalogue that includes artists of such diversity as Alexander Robotnick, Aux 88, Nami Shimada, James T Cotton, Traxx, Rude 66, Legowelt, Bangkok Impact, Marcus Mixx and Luke Eargoggle... the list goes on: over 80 releases strong, over 50 artists deep!
