Holiday for Pregnant Woman

    Hey guys,

The wife and myself are planning a week away at the end of the month. At that stage she will be about 7 months pregnant. We've checked with most of the major airlines and flying with them is not a problem.

My question is in relation to where we would go, requirements would be somewhere:

    1. Reasonably hot, but not too hot.

    2. Not too far away by plane from Cork, under 2 and a half hours (ish).

    3. Nowhere too busy or crazy as we're mainly going to be relaxing.

We were thinking of somewhere like France or northern Spain...

San Sebastain in Northern Spain would probably fit the bill, although I wouldn't be familiar with flights from Cork.

It's a lovely town on the coast with two great beaches. It can be quite busy mainly spanish tourists but busy in a quiet/relaxing way, definitely no larger louts or the like about.

I was there before in July and it was the not overly hot, high twenties or so. You wouldn't be guaranteed proper full on sunny weather as much as you would be on the med.

That looks promising alright SuperStarHoney, just had a look at it there, thanks. Like you said there, flights from Cork would be limited but Aer Lingus go to Barcelona.

La Rochelle with Aer Arann? I'm not sure how hot it would be at the end of June though.
