Just wondering has anyone tried putting a "wanted ad" on Daft? I'm a bit tired of trying to find a landlord that will accept a dog. So I was thinking a wanted ad might give me more results. I figure that most landlords probably check websites like Daft reasonably regularly to see where the market is going. Is it worth €20 to stick one up on Daft? or am I just wasting my time?

I registered as a tenant looking for a place on Daft about 2 years ago and it worked out well for me! After viewing some really nasty places I had a whole list of things I wanted and it seemed easier that way. I got a few emails but it wasn't long til someone came back offering the place I'm still in now.

It didn't cost me anything to put up an ad though - just go into the Place Advert section and look for the teeny link at the top that says: "Are you looking for a place to live? Enter a wanted advert instead!"

Thanks! I did exactly as you suggested. I'll keep my fingers crossed now :)
