Guys, there are always people posting about where to find great value golf around the country. You'll find a great new deal/competition at Adare at the the moment - it runs to the end of August.

Add to that, Adare's 7th position in the Golf Digest Ireland top 100 courses ranking, and for €75 you can play a competitive game at Ireland's top ranked parkland. If you haven't played it, the place is majestic. Get three mates and go play it.

Oh, and if you happen to win the whole thing, you'll be going to TPC Sawgrass, expenses paid.

    Good luck

played in the winter version of this golf challenge for €70 so i suppose with the summer upon us it has to be value for money at €75 - a buddy of mine played there 10 days ago and said it was in real nice shape - very playable was the way he put it and the greens were very through. must contact them re tee times is it the same format as the winter challenge and are there any restrictions with tee times???

I played in the winter one too and that was Monday to Wednesday (although they extended this towards the end to include Thursdays). The summer one is Monday to Friday but only after 2pm. Great value by the way. Fantastic course

Played there yesterday at 3.30 great day maybe not such a great score - place was in real good shape though- a great test of golf tricky enough pins but very enjoyable i was lucky to get out at that time as they seemed busy but i'd say if anyone wanted to get out before the twilight rate kicks in after 2pm i'd say there would be no hassle provided they had availabilty - enjoy any one wishing 2 take part fab prize 2 it would make a cheap week away for 4 lads - might try and qualify next week again!!!!
