Unsigned Band Compilation: Want Your Music Heard?

I am going to start a project on trying to get YOUR music heard.

I listen to alot of new music and i love listening to compilations in order to discover that new band.

SO, this is my project.

I am going to start putting together a regular Unsigned Band Compilation and distribute it by disc to whoever wants it. I will also distribute it using P2P (Bit Torrent) so as to get it out there to everyone. I will then regularly post details up here and elsewhere for anyone interested in new music. The disc and the torrent will feature a page with details for each track, contact details, MySpace details etc. Whatever YOU want.

I won't be selling these discs or making any money from this by the way, it's jus something i woul be interested in trying out and it's a way for people to get their music heard. Plus i know there is a demand for people to want to hear unsigned acts.

So, if you want your music to be part of this project then reply here and/or send me a pm. Obviously if i'm distributing the music you will have to own the rights to it. Any style of music is suitable.

dont mean to burst your bubble but whats to stop a band/musician just doing all that themselves, plus anyone who is on myspace will know that every 2nd add you get is from something usually called unsigned underground or some various moniker who claims to want to get your music heard by all the major labels and after about a month the page is left idle due to a loss of interest, i think you'd be better off putting your interest into something more necessary

Im not trying to reinvent the wheel here man haha! And i wont be going near MySpace in truth.

It's just a little project, the kindsa people who will listen to the music are the kindsa people who will want to discover new music.

The listener benefits, the bands benefit, it's all good
