    Hello all,
    I'm a 5th year student starting 6th year in September. At the moment I'm very interested in studying Medicine, definitely something in health care anyway. I would really like to spend even a day's work experience in a hospital before I commit next year though. Unfortunately all my attempts to obtain placements have been ignored thus far. I know there's lots of issues with letting students into hospitals but surely when it's someone's career it's possible? I know lots of people who've been allowed work in nursing and physio etc, I really just want to get a feel for what it's like to work in a hospital, even if I wouldn't be allowed shadow a doctor.
    So, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I'd get in to work in a hospital for a day or two?
