I am fairly tanned, well for an Irish guy. Anyways you know the brown freckle like spots that people have, well I noticed I get new ones if I'm in the sun and get well tanned or brunt. I dont mind them usually but I have a few now appearing on my forehead and dont look great! Anyways I was wondering is there really any way of getting rid of them?

lemon juice has been used to bleach freckles for ages.

however, you should make sure they aren't moles (skin cancer) and visit your GP.

dont be sitting in the sun for ridiculous amount of hours your skin cant handle, even if you think your sallow.

No, They are not moles just like feckles on the skin (Like Andy on Emmerdale, he's covered in them!). So lemon juice, must try it! Any other suggestion, I was thinking of using Bio-oil

New freckles from the sun = sun damage. Start wearing high-factor sun cream - like, 30 or over. Bio-oil won't do anything for freckles.

Over tanning can result in sort of brown patches like age spots. They are a sign of permanent sun damage.

Expensive skin treatments like laser and light treatments can improve but not remove them. And they are expensive.

If these are appearing on your skin, its a sign you are damaging it with too much sun. It will wrinkle earlier so prevention is essential.

Wearing a high factor on your face, neck, chest and hands is important if you dont want to end up with age spots, premature wrinkles and crepy skin.

I think I have the same as you & they are not really freckles as they are slightly raised unlike normal freckles - however they aren't moles either. I've had some on my face & arms for as long as I can remember & they are not dangerous as far as I know. I cant say I've noticed any news ones developing though as I always wear a high factor sun screen, especially on my face. I would recommend that you start using high factor sun screen straight away, even on days that are not so sunny.

Red Raised iRegular (shape or border)

These are the 3 Rs of Skin Cancer. Just one should be enough to make you run to your doctor. I'm not kidding, it's life & death stuff.

Other stuff to watch for is two or more colours, a large diameter.

Anything raised is classified as a mole, I have lots of big "freckles" some raised some not, they are all classed as moles, and I'm not pale skinned at all I actually am dark enough. Freckles according to my Doc who looks after skin cancer are only small, evenly spaced and evenly distributed.
I've had to have one off this year and will have to monitor the rest of them, like Xiney says RRR.
Everyone should get themselves checked out by their Doc once a year at least.

And start staying in the shade. Its really weird how obsessed irish people are with tanning and being dark.

Didnt the OP Say that the were brown and I'm guessing not raised since he/she said the were like freckles. I have had a mole on my face all my life and the only problem I ever had with it was cutting it shaving!

I dont know how to get rid of them but let it be a lesson because the sun appears all glamourous and everyone wants a tan etc etc.
But at the end of the day the sun worshippers look like prunes and are very unnattractive!

You'll be fine as I'd say you're young(from a guess), just dont expose yourself to too much strong sun. I have freckles on my left arm mostly, a few ones.
I know what caused these, as a kid I always had my left arm at the window in the car everytime i went with my parents, getting most of the sun and by the time i was 16, i had freckles on my arm. I dont like them at all but they arent bad!

The sun is the first cause of premature aging, then it's smoking!
