nah thats not why its offline, i got mine at like 4 at xmas after the superbowl completley bananas ringin the aul pair an everything...someone will be on soon enough sayin there up, best thing is to go do something else for awhile. I think a bit of porn and a cheeky one might do the trick!! :D

All the other times the results came out they said it would be the latest 5pm on what ever day it is, but this time it says earliest. I think they are just going to leave us waiting till tomo.

I know SIS is down at the moment but earlier I tried it and I think my account has been suspended.

I typed in my student number and password in the DDMMYY and DDMMYYYY formats with no luck. Then clicked on forgot PIN and changed answered the question and it asked me for a new pin which I entered. It still won't let me log on.

Does anyone else know of any way to access SIS without contacting the IT department because honestly I don't know how long it will take them to get back to me!

Ah I've been there my friend. I have some bad news and some worse news.

Bad news: You have locked yourself out by typeing the wrong password 3 times.

Worse news: Apart from going up to them in person and asking for the account to be reactivated, there's little else you can do. I'd suggest sending an email to IT services, but everyone laughing at the idea of them reading their emails would cause us all to miss the exam results being released.

If you live close to UCD I'd suggest going to them 9am tommorrow (/today).

Naw - I'm still expecting results earlier than that, because it's only sensible to stagger the load on the servers, and it's logical to expect that some students will wait until after 5PM and some won't. If 10,000 students try to log on to SIS at 4:59:59 sharp, you'll be able to hear the server crash from Dingle, and no-one gets their results until next week. :eek:

IT Services have nothing to do with the SIS login system.. That's the student desk/SIS

This stuff is the best, it'll cheer you up and help you forget all about this exam worry, I must say it is one of the best programs I've ever seen for a long in fact, one might not be so presumptuous to assume that this is emmy award winning material! Watching acting of this level really does make the wait for results worth while! Have a look see, you have to watch it in the following order in order to grasp the complexities, so this, this and finally this, it really does make my day!:rolleyes:

They are such idiots at ucd with this "no earlier than 5pm" bs. what will happen at 5 is that the circa 13000 undergrads will log on simultaneously and crash the thing. at least when they say "no later than 5pm" as in previous years people can log on gradually over the day to get their results.

pretty lol when you think of we get the result AFTER 5pm......do they just put everything on just the sec they are off for their weekend??what if the system crashes during the result-up period?
