    Has anyone been there ?

    a) Is it suitable for a 3 yr old ?
    b) Are the queueing robots worth getting ?

    Is it fun ?

very good for a three year old, we had annual passes when our daughter was about that age and she loved it.

Not sure about the robot things though, never used them. The Train ride, Boating school, driving school and fire academy will all have a big queue, so it way be worth while. Other things toddlers enjoy, like the Johnny Thunder show, the puppet show, the maze, panning for gold and the model world will involve no queueing at all.

Take a swimming costume and towel as well, there is a really good water park (The Water Works) that kids love, great for cooling them down on a hot day. That area (Cuddles Corner) is designed for kids around that age and is where the puippet show is and probably the best place to eat, the pasta restaurent.

Are you staying nearby or in London?

We are staying for a couple of days in Maidenhead , we have friends/relatives near there.

Then we are off for a week down in Bognor of all places , lets hope the sun shines !

Thanks Fred, when you say queues , are you talking 10-15 mins or longer , this is a weekend we are visiting :( but it's the only day we can ' spare ' . It's not during the British Summer holidays , if that's a saving grace.

I know Maidenhead very well! Another great place for kids near there is Odds Farm Park.

The boats could well be a 45 minute queue, the train 30 minutes but tbh honest, it's not the end of the world if you don't go on them. I presume the bigger rides wouldn't interest you as they are height restricted but they would have 45 minute queues as well.

TBH though, if you get in the Johnny Thunder show and spend an hour or two in Cuddles Corner you will have a great day without going on the bigger rides.

We went last year with our then 12, 6 & 3 year olds. Got 2-day tickets and didn't get the q-bots but probably would next time. Kids loved it, we loved it and kids fully expect that we'll be going back again this summer!
